I agree, thats a great place for a date, if you are a decent skater its sort of a DHV, carful not to show off though..
Ha i have a story about going on a date back in grade nine or ten, me and my friend took these two girls to the rink by the liquor store out here. Its actually a nice spot.. anyway, we were just skating around for a while.. this is the first time i had ever met these girls but my boy, being a good friend told them all about me.. actually told them that i could get any girl i wanted.. not true but moving on.. So since it was a few years ago i don't really remember how it happened. But i was sort of dating like.. 5 girls at once. Well.. telling them all that i would eventually go out with them.. but anyway.. me and this girl that my friend had introduced me to got along pretty well and after talking for a bit we jumped onto the concrete with our skates on and ran into the Massive gingerbread house on the little trail by the rink. we made out there for like half an hour and i felt her up and down.. decent for a kid in grade nine or ten. seriously dont remember.
anyway i don't recommend dating a bunch of girls at once.. they all found out about eachother and got together one day and watched John Tucker must die and bitched about me.. i even held that nickname until like this year..
the river would be cool for a day skate, but we have an outdoor skating rink here that would make for a pretty romantic rendevous. there is lighting, but not too much light and there are like light up animals in the background and they are all different colours, soo for a night skate i would definitely go for that one one.
Ice skating is a great place for a date :) Can't believe I havnt done it in almost a year o.O Last time I did though, ended up cruising round the rink with this girl holding my hand xD good times lawl
